Mike Birdsall ("Legendary Sex Offender")
[edit]I've removed him from the list pending a source. -Juansmith 10:06, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
I wonder if he meant steve. the IHS janitor. hahaha.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Crazyfoool (talk • contribs) 18:12, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
Chefchaouen
[edit]Is now officially Issaquah's Sister City. They signed the town twinning agreement this morning in Chefchaouen. Issaquah's delegation is now currently touring Chefchaouen, for today and tomorrow. They will leave Chefchaouen for Tangiers Friday morning.
I contributed some designs to this ceremony myself, because my father, the vice president of the city council, asked me to.
I don't think we should wait for some pages to update just to add this information.

School District
[edit]I don't think it's appropriate to inlcude all of the schools in the district on this page, as many are not actually in Issaquah. Maybe that information could just be left to the Issaquah School District page. I will change this soon if no one has a problem with it.--DerRichter (talk) 11:55, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
XXX Restaurant
[edit]From the Wiki page...."Triple XXX is famous for its Root Beer.[citation needed]"
This should be considered an untrue statement. Information taken from the XXX Issaquah website...http://triplexrootbeer.com/history.htm There is nothing about the rootbeer in Issaquah that qualifies it as famous.
The rootbeer syrup is provided by Coca-Cola and is not a "famous" XXX recipe. Quoted from website:
"12/3/2008: To clarify, the Triple XXX here in Issaquah buys its root beer syrup from Coca-Cola. The Triple XXX Family Restaurant in Lafayette, IN is unique in that it uses the original Triple XXX syrup, and owns the trademark to the Triple XXX name as well." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.237.207.212 (talk) 05:26, 26 April 2010 (UTC)
climate
[edit]Either I'm missing something, or the climate data does not match what the source says. Thoughts? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.247.133.190 (talk) 03:34, 27 June 2014 (UTC)
Transportation Bond - Proposition #1 November 2016
[edit]Based on the section "transportation" it might be of interest to include the basis of the recent Proposition #1 Transportation Improvement Bond that the City placed on the ballot and it's subsequent defeat; only because it is interesting that the subject of transportation gets a subheading and there is discussion of the South East Bypass — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:4898:80E8:A:0:0:0:53F (talk) 21:10, 13 January 2017 (UTC)
Serial Killers
[edit]At least two famous serial killers operated in the Issaquah area. Ted Bundy famously abducted 2 women from a beach near Issaquah, and the skull of one of Gary Ridgeway's victims was found near the town as well. I'm surprised no one has edited the article to reflect those facts. TobusRex (talk) 09:58, 25 April 2018 (UTC)
