Popular culture
[edit]I suggest that this article needs a Pop culture section, where it talks about what "hindbrain" means to the lay person. The phrase "reptilian hindbrain" pops up a lot in sitcoms, general conversation, etc. It's popularly perceived as being the site of instinctive reactions. This article is all medico-anatomical, very technical, with no acknowledgement of how people popularly think of "the hindbrain." Bookgrrl holler/lookee here 02:05, 11 May 2012 (UTC)
