WHY WAS MY REVISION OF H J BLACKHAM DELETED?
[edit]WHY WAS MY REVISION OF H J BLACKHAM DELETED? And why is there no clear way to query such deletions?

- Because you copied the text from this website [1], so it's a copyright violation. RMHED (talk) 02:21, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
The text does not belong to IHEU - it was copied by them from the British Humanist Association - see http://www.humanism.org.uk/news/view/209 - of which I am a trustee and which is happy to have the text spread widely. Please reinstate the amended text. - David Pollock —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.103.125.135 (talk) 10:58, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
You are very quick to delete text but very slow to re-instate it! At a time just after his death people will want to refer to Wikipedia for his life. My entry - partly written and researched by me for the BHA - is now banned because IHEU, with permission, copied it from the BHA site! Will some editor get a move on and reinstate the full version? - David Pollock, BHA trustee, [email protected] —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.103.125.135 (talk) 15:53, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
- The text on the BHA site isn't under a free license such as GFDL or creative commons, as soon as it is, it can be readded. You could always rewrite the text so it isn't a copyright problem. RMHED (talk) 21:52, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
