Article issues
[edit]OK, this article needs some major work.
- To start with, all but one of the references are just to the general website of the publication where the article was supposedly published. There are no actual links to any sources except an about.com article, which is not a reliable source.
- There are no facts about the man at all, except the country of his birth. What about his birth date, current residence, anything else he's notable for? Right now, this article seems to be a thinly veiled attempt to promote this Franklin Method, whatever it is.
- Is he in fact notable? Without references to actual coverage in multiple, independent sources, this person appears to fail the general notability guideline, to say nothing of the BLP policy.

[edit]First, thank you for your advices. I'll try to have more personal informations about him; they don't exist on the net. As for notability, in my opinion, if many important publishers all over the world offer to someone to print ten books translated in different languages, about different aspects of a same topic, that man is obviously notable in that field. More over, someone invited to teach in important universities and ballet schools like the mentioned ones, is necessarily reknown in his field (dance/Pilates/body-mind). For books, how can I proove their reality? Have I to mention ISBN reference? Or a public library catalogue? I cannot create a link to commercial sites like Amazon, of course. So what do I have to do? Give me a suggestion, please. For articles, the PDFs can be found in the Franklin Method website, but I don't succeed in create a link to the article. This is the page where you can find the integral text of the magazines'issues. http://franklinmethod.org/en/about/press
I apologize if my tone is not neutral enough, but I'm really interested in this topic, as a french/italian ballet teacher, having seen the multiples benefits of this method, which is really revolutionary. (Sferaviola (talk) 20:19, 5 March 2012 (UTC))
- Hello, Sferaviola. Wikipedia has a variety of formats for citing sources and generally the idea is to pick one and be consistent within that article. Some of the formats include ISBN numbers, as well as the opportunity to link to online versions of books (Google books is more neutral than Amazon - and you can actually link directly to the specific page). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Introduction_to_referencing/1
- To me, part of the problem is that there are a *lot* of "references" listed that don't belong. Many are external links; WP tries to limit the number of external links. Each of those words in the article can link to the WP article on that topic, if there is one, but not to an external link. Take a look at the citations on some other similar pages. Alexander_technique seems to be a decent example. --Karinpower (talk) 06:31, 17 July 2014 (UTC)
