Shanks, Adam (4 April 2024). "Wikipedia is San Francisco's newest political battlefield". San Francisco Examiner. Retrieved 4 April 2024. A user recently edited Supervisor Chan's page to add to her record on housing. The previous edition had highlighted Chan's resistance to housing legislation, such as when she "prevented the Board of Supervisors from considering a proposed referendum that would streamline the permitting process for certain housing developments."
The label "Progressive" no ways to apply to Connie Chan. She opposed both successful pedestrian and cyclists friendly measures in 2022 and 2024. JFK Promenade and Great Highway Park. As Chairperson of the Supervisors Budget Committee she gave the cops everything they requested. In the November 2024 election Connie put Proposition F on the ballot. It would have allowed retired cops to collect their already generous pension and keep working. It was defeated. Lee Heidhues (talk) 04:02, 21 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please note that according to Wikipedia's policies (see in particular WP:NPOV and WP:V), articles are not based on editors' personal opinions, but instead have to reflect reliable published sources. The "progressive" in the current article version seems to be well-supported by two such sources. Regards, HaeB (talk) 07:57, 21 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
