The section on Christopher Chant is unclear and will be confusing for those who have not read the books. I read them a long time ago so I can't remember much about them. Could someone with a better knowledge of the books please make this section in particular clearer. Thanks. Froj 20:48, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Enchanters' Weaknesses
I think somewhere in the books it says that all enchanters have a weakness - Christopher Chant's is silver. The page originally said that Cat's weakness was his left-handedness and specifically not being able to work magic with his right hand. I get the impression from the end of Charmed Life though that Cat's weakness is that his lives have been put in a book of matches - using them up is the way to kill him. So I added that as a weakness AS WELL as leaving the left-handedness thing in the article. But I think that the "weakness" should only be one thing i.e. one or the other. What do others think?Helen-Eva 09:29, 27 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Much of this article seems to be written from an "in-universe" perspective and is potentially confusing to anyone who hasn't read the series.--68.14.87.122 (talk) 20:01, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Pronunciation

[edit]

Moved here from the lead:

/ˈkrɛstəmænsi/

This is a bad misfit for DWJ's pronunciation guide. She gives second syllable -OH- and must expect that that is sufficient because it matches the English word "oh". I believe that reliably means a long o with only a secondary difference whether it sounds the same as English word "owe"). Relative to the bad misfit |əm|, the English word "toe" would also represent a secondary differences; perhaps "tow" too. --P64 (talk) 17:22, 2 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
