Overload on Homework
[edit]Attn: Administration and Teachers of Cheyenne Mountain High School
My daughter is a sophomore at CMHS. She has homework every night from six of seven classes. Last night she worked until midnight and woke up today at 5am to try and finish everything. She is absolutely exhausted. I’m very OK with her being pushed to do better, but this is extreme to say the least. Please consider this and discuss it. She’s not working on her Masters thesis is college, she’s in the 10th grade. Let our kids be kids and give them the time they need after school to decompress. Her stress level two weeks into school is causing her migraines. Today, I kept her home to rest. That shouldn’t ever happen.
Thank you and please consider my request!!) 2601:281:CD00:1BD0:8D86:FE6B:77EA:C5A (talk) 14:13, 2 September 2022 (UTC)
