Murder Rate

[edit]

One of the 'claims to fame' of Celaya is that it has the highest murder rate, per 100,000 people, of any city on earth:

1.🇲🇽 #Celaya: 109

2.🇲🇽 #Tijuana: 105

3.🇲🇽 #Ciudad Juarez: 103

4.🇲🇽 #Ciudad Obregon: 101

5.🇲🇽 #Irapuato: 94

6.🇲🇽 #Ensenada: 90

7.🇲🇽 #Uruapan: 72

8.🇧🇷 #FieraDeSantana: 67

9.🇿🇦 #CapeTown: 64

10.🇻🇪 #Cumana: 62

-- World of Statistics

Isn't it worth a section discussing this, and the reasons why? It'd be interesting to include the Gini Index for the city.

Title

[edit]

The title of this article, as well as its counterpart in Español, should be Celaya (Mexico). J. Peterka 14:56, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No, because this is by far the largest & best known Celaya. Jim Michael 2 (talk) 10:26, 26 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Schools

[edit]

I don't consider the section about Schools in Celaya really relevant to the article. PabloClark 01:12, 17 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
