PDX CA GRNDS: Resides in the northwestern most quadrant of the Brentwood Darlington neighborhood of SE Portland.
The Trademark Tabernacle was built in 1921 and can seat about 120 score. Beautiful gardens line the scenic parklike entrance to the church building with it's Proclomation, "Jesus the Light of the World" seen from a distance.
Initially the 11 acre property has been edged away, as neighborhoods in SE Portland have gradually developed over 80 years. The original lot now compromises about 9 1/2 acres, and contains a small village of about 550 cabins amidst an equal number of towering firs and deciduous trees, most of which are around a century in age.
There is a newly expanded restaurant, with an outdoor dining patio, a woodshop, gym, and car garage aslo located on the premises.
Fun Fact: Tallest tree on the property is about 120 ft tall--eye level with New church steeple. Sad Fact: 150 trees will be taken to the axe in 2006.
