Comment on political content
[edit]IZAK, I removed the part at the end of the intro saying "pro-Israel." I think that is irrelevant and possibly even misleading. Tawonga is a summer camp, not a political organization, and its stance on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has nothing to do with what it is about. Being a Jewish camp, do virtually all of those involved in it believe in the existence of Israel? Of course, I am sure. But the term "pro-Israel" can be taken to mean that the entity in question aggresively advocates for the Israeli side in the conflict which could not be said about Tawonga...by hosting the Israeli-Palestinian dialogue weekend, the camp is, if anything, more "pro-coexistence" than simply "pro-Israel." Comment on article style
[edit]This article really reads like a reproduction of promotional material for Camp Tawonga and nothing else. I don't see in what sense it can be said to be an "article." The fact that the pro-Israel information was deleted, regardless of how that information might be interpreted by readers, only further suggests that the article is written to promote Camp Tawonga, rather than report on it from an outside, neutral, third party perspective. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.83.239.225 (talk) 08:44, 3 September 2010 (UTC)
- Thats stating the obvious. I will attempt to trim back the article to the basic facts from the org itself, and will try to add at least 1 secondary source.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 17:42, 4 July 2013 (UTC)
