tasks for this page

[edit]

We (I will gradually work on this myself) need to do several things with this page: 1) complete the list of attributed works 2) get some images of those works 3) discuss possible identities and attribution more fully 4) discuss themes/characteristics of the paintings. just as a roadmap! I actually think we're in a position to do considerable good here, because there's very little aggregated information on this fellow.Vivisel 17:35, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Book to investigate

[edit]

If anyone can lay hands on Early Netherlandish Painting, Volume 12, by Max J. Friedländer, it seems to have a few paragraphs about the Brunswick Monogrammist on page 241: http://books.google.com/books?id=7uJOAAAAYAAJ&q="painter of marked peculiarity"&dq="painter of marked peculiarity"&hl=en&sa=X&ei=q3-4UseiN8jRsATg5oHgBg&ved=0CEwQ6AEwAQ

I will see if I can locate it in a library... Vivisel (talk) 18:30, 23 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
