The event currently attributed to April 12 in "Future events" (NBC Sports regional networks being dropped from Dish) is due to a typo in the source it uses (source types out "4/12/021" at one point). According to a few other sources (examples: [1] [2][will eventually decay]), the event in question has already taken place on April 1, and as such the listed April 12 event should be merged into the existing April 1 event in "Notable events" (that event also being a Dish RSN drop). --76.92.140.207 (talk) 05:08, 2 April 2021 (UTC)

"With its airing of night one of the iHeartRadio Music Festival, The CW will offer Saturday prime-time programming for the first time in its 15-year history, becoming only the sixth conventional U.S. English-language commercial broadcast network ever to maintain a seven-night-a-week schedule."
Wrong, they're actually the fifth. Whoever who posted that thought MyNetworkTV also aired on Sundays when it didn't, as it was a Mon-Sat network before they became a syndication service and dropped Saturdays altogether. 2605:A601:A1B8:D400:8985:9C98:E4B8:BD3B (talk) 22:30, 14 May 2021 (UTC)

Friends: The Reunion
I believe that this article should mention Friends: The Reunion. It seems like a "pretty big deal", in terms of TV events in the USA. The episode is set to premiere on May 27, 2021, on HBO Max. Thanks. Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 02:01, 22 May 2021 (UTC)
- It's already listed in the Shows returning section. TomCat4680 (talk) 02:43, 22 May 2021 (UTC)
- OK. Thanks. I did not see that. I had quickly scanned the article, and was expecting to see an entry in the "Notable events" ("Calendar" section), at the top, under "May 2021". Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 03:28, 22 May 2021 (UTC)
Follow-up: The above entry is no longer in the article. What happened? Somewhere in this article (2021 in American TV), there should be some mention of the Friends reunion. Thanks. Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 01:31, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
- @JugulatorJJ: removed it with the edit summary Friends: The Reunion was not a returning show. It was a one-off Friends related special not an episode of the show. TomCat4680 (talk) 02:24, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
- Ok. Thanks. I am going to repeat myself:
- (a) I believe that this article should mention Friends: The Reunion. It seems like a "pretty big deal", in terms of TV events in the USA. The episode is set to premiere on May 27, 2021, on HBO Max.
- (b) Somewhere in this article (2021 in American TV), there should be some mention of the Friends reunion.
- Thanks. Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 02:37, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
- Yes it's a big deal for Friends fans, but for TV in general, not so much. Like JugulatorJJ said it's NOT a new season/reboot/revival, which that section is reserved for, it's just a one-time reunion special. TomCat4680 (talk) 02:47, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks. Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 02:37, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
- I am hardly a Friends fan. But -- yes -- it's a big deal. It's all we've heard about (in reliable sources) for years, finally coming to fruition just recently. I have read some of the other "notable events" that this article highlights. A Friends "come-back" is certainly in line with -- and more significant than -- some of those listed ("non-") events. I am also not saying that "it's a new season/reboot/revival, which that section is reserved, for it's just a one-time reunion special". Yeah, I agree that it's a one-time reunion special. Nonetheless, regardless of what section it "belongs in", it's a "significant enough event" to be covered somewhere in this article. I can hardly believe that this is a point of contention. If no one else adds it in, I will be doing so. I rarely/never come to this page, nor do I edit it. I stopped by, once, quickly, simply assuming that that "big deal" Friends event would be listed somewhere. As I said, if no one else adds it, I will. I was being polite and courteous, because I am not familiar with the formatting/tables/charts within this article. And was assuming a person more familiar with the page could/would format the entry correctly. If not, I will just "throw something together" ... and leave someone else to clean up the formatting mess that might result. Again, this is a "controversial" entry? Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 03:24, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
- Go ahead, but someone else might delete it again. There used to be a specials/TV movies section in previous Years in American television articles, it'd probably be more appropriate to put it in a section of that nature. TomCat4680 (talk) 03:45, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
- By the way, Friends is one of the most successful shows, ever, in TV history. And has, I assume, millions of fans. It "coming back" after some 20-odd years was -- and is -- a big deal, covered by tons of reliable sources. Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 03:29, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
- Yes Friends itself was a highly notable show, there's no arguing that. It launched the careers of its main cast and is beloved around the world. TomCat4680 (talk) 03:45, 28 May 2021 (UTC)

- Yes, exactly. So, its returning after 20 years is a "big deal" ... i.e., notable ... and should be somewhere in this article. Which is why I originally came to this Talk Page, with my first request. Hard to see how this is a "controversial" request. Juan Williams retires from The Five? Who cares? Some TV station adds a few channels. Who cares? And a highly-anticipated reunion, in the making for 20 years, of one of the greatest shows in TV history? Nah, not notable. LOL. Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 15:02, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
Big deal or not it factually isn't a returning show. Putting it in a "returning shows" table is incorrect. Whether the special is a "big deal" or not is irrelevant. JugulatorJJ (talk) 15:31, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
- @JugulatorJJ: I never claimed that it belongs in the "returning show" section, did I? Re-read my above comments. I said it belongs somewhere in this article, which is -- essentially -- named "Notable Events in American TV in 2021". And, by the way, the phrase "it's a big deal" ... is simply vernacular for ... "it's notable". Hence, highly relevant. Not in any way irrelevant. Contrary to your claim. I had to spell all this out, here? Seriously? Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 15:39, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
- A helpful link: wikt:vernacular. Thanks. Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 15:45, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
@TomCat4680: Thank you for editing and cleaning up the "format mess", which I both mentioned -- and anticipated -- above. Thanks. As a general comment, I am not quite sure why "we" (i.e., the generic "we") had to engage in the elaborate tap-dance, up above ... for such a simple -- and obviously appropriate -- request. Thanks. Joseph A. Spadaro (talk) 15:51, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
- Glad to help. It'd probably be better in a section called "Specials and TV movies" though. TomCat4680 (talk) 20:12, 28 May 2021 (UTC)

I would like to request The Jump and Highly Questionable be added to Programs ending in 2021, both canceled at ESPN. HQ's final episode was September 10, though I haven't been paying attention to whether The Jump is running until the October 18 premiere of NBA Today. Heck, The Jump seems to not have its own Wikipedia page, so if it doesn't get listed based on that, I understand.
Secondly, in addition to recognizing an unanswered informal request for Tuca & Bertie to be updated, can Beavis and Butthead be moved out of mid in the same section? It's just about October, no longer mid-2021, and no premiere yet. I also notice 4400 isn't included as a reboot in shows returning, and it's premiering in less than 4 weeks. Since it's so late that it is coming up so soon, you could probably just use the CW Fall Premiere Dates source from The Futon Critic in the Legends of the Hidden Temple entry and have them share it

Power Rangers and Netflix
Okay so we just got the official word that Power Rangers is moving from Nickelodeon to Netflix exclusively for season 2. However, 13 of the 22 season 1 episodes did make their domestic debut on Netflix, including the final 10. So how do we want to go about listing it? Go Nickelodeon to Netflix on 2021, Nickelodeon to Nickelodeon/Netflix on 2021, or Nickelodeon to Netflix on 2022?--141.157.254.24 (talk) 16:10, 21 October 2021 (UTC)
- Update: Went with the latter a few days ago, gave a note about the domestic releasing of the 2021 season (28) went, I think it works well--141.157.254.24 (talk) 06:27, 31 October 2021 (UTC)
Editing on celebrity wheel
Hello there, TVSGuy is here. And this post is about asking a question whether if it is right or wrong.
I did updated on Monday morning when I heard news report on relating Jason Mraz played for $1 million on Wheel of Fortune but this user objected against it by reverting it. I tried spoke to him on his talk page to explain the reasons but it did not reply, and I still trying to keep my mood.
I made an objection for these following reasons:
- This is a celebrity edition and I know that they are playing for charities, which is by now, very understandable for that.
- This $1 million unsuccessful attempt is a first in this primetime version, not syndication. There were a few notable moments not just this show (and other game shows, according to past articles) that there were attempts of someone about to win the grand prize unsuccessfully. The keyword is "First". Moreover, the prize is designed that difficult to obtain.
- I trying to contribute most on the historical or notable moments such as viral moments etc.
Any comments and whether if that revert is correct or wrong? Thanks. I will not close this discussion until a decision is set. TVSGuy (talk) 10:59, 17 November 2021 (UTC)

Please restore the Riverdale 100th episode listing. It ended last season on episode 95 and has aired its first of this season's 5 guaranteed episodes on this side of the calendar, as part of an entire event, meaning the date is correct. The entry wasn't supposed to be unhidden until explicit sources came up, so removing it is just cruel, especially as sources have popped up now. Please use them when restoring the entry.--141.157.254.24 (talk) 18:03, 20 November 2021 (UTC)

Since the previous request was ignored on a technicality, I’m going to include it in my request, which has two other pieces. Hopefully this satisfies the recommended format
1) Please change the Milestone episodes and anniversaries section to include the 100th episode of Riverdale, The Jughead Paradox, airing December 14[1]
2) In the Shows changing networks section, please change it to include that the Miss America competition has moved from NBC to Peacock[2]
3) In the Shows ending in 2021 section, please change it to include a December 16 entry for The Fungies!, and label it as Canceled. Show creator Stephen P. Neary, who left the studio proud that they had done 80 episodes, has explicitly stated such tonight in a reply to the Animation Guild Writers
7:37 EDIT: 4) Please change the Shows returning section to remove the TBA entries, as by the first of the month, the announcement for the month’s plans will have already been out a week or two, especially for streaming services. Beavis and Butthead definitely ain’t heading to Comedy Central this month either. All entries in question have already been imported to 2022’s page --CreecregofLife (talk) 06:51, 1 December 2021 (UTC)

Understanding reverting and notable
I am writing this to flag an attention for this new user @CreecregofLife: for reverting some of the edits including mine, claiming that the edits are not notable. I writing on this post is to let you all know, but reverting an edit is just too much and is beyond understanding the meaning on what is notable about. I'm not trying to be selfish, but given that he was a new user and his experiences, I leave you all to decide on that and just to let you know, Wikipedia is a place to edit and for contributions amd being civil, and not to plain revert because claiming notability is just as too much and it is not right at all. TVSGuy (talk) 06:44, 16 December 2021 (UTC)
- I have been civil. You are being ridiculous. I am not a new user. There is nothing wrong with me reverting edits.--CreecregofLife (talk) 06:48, 16 December 2021 (UTC)
- Listen here, what part of my notability you do not understand? Wikipedia is a site where people have the right to edit anything they can contribute, and by reverting it claiming it was not notable is proven as wrong and selfish and may have overlook any importance of the edit. Even if you are an experienced user I have more experience than you are having that I had learn a lot from the past. If you still do not understand, I will not edit here from now on. I am also being civil too, you know. TVSGuy (talk) 08:08, 16 December 2021 (UTC)
- You didn’t prove me wrong. Why are you pushing your rights over mine?--CreecregofLife (talk) 08:24, 16 December 2021 (UTC)
