Merge proposal

[edit]

There's a June merge proposal with no case made, but I suppose it's restart of the Wikipedia talk:Notability (sports)/Archive 20#Lauren Hill (college basketball player) discussion that was archived without consensus. A merge either way would work, but I'd suggest merging to Lauren Hill, on the grounds that a single game at this level is unlikely to be notable; and that notability is hence through Lauren. The Lauren Hill article easily passes WP:GNG with the last WP:SIGCOV in the article coming 8 years after her death. Her notability stems from more than just a single game and her article shouldn't be redirected anywhere. Alvaldi (talk) 10:24, 20 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
