- 00:4600:46, 8 March 2018 diff hist 336 Doctrine of signatures You are incorrect and out of line. Do not start an edit war and do not flame with insulting non-substantive responses like "rubbish". Commas are not used before the word "and" when linking two dependent clauses. Also, the writing is clearer with the sentences separated. We can discuss and debate this latter point if you like but the comma must be deleted if the sentences are to be combined.
- 00:0500:05, 8 March 2018 diff hist 38 Doctrine of signatures Combined sentence shouldn't have retained the comma. Combining the sentences makes the article slightly worse because it erroneously implies that the many deaths and severe illnesses occurred only recently. More awkward grammatically. I specifically noted, in this new revision, that the damaging legacy is both quite historical and also contemporary. The Aristolochic acid article discusses some of these contemporary instances of poisoning due to the doctrine.

B, "Yet, there are also respected solid state designs" has little to do with supporting the statement before it, A ("there is consensus that tube guitar amps can offer a useful type of sound, i.e. variety is good"). Tried to repair these sentences.

Isn't there a clearer way to word this "logical complement" bit? Opening paragraph implies that transistor amplifiers no longer have worse sound. Is this the case? One historical reason is inadequate for a summary opening. This is not the "history of tube sound
