Patrick Hurley is a British Labour Party politician who was elected the Member of Parliament (MP) for Southport in 2024.[2] He is from Prescot, Knowsley. He is the first Labour politician to win the Southport seat; the 2024 election is the first time Labour held every seat in Merseyside. He served as councillor for Mossley Hill on Liverpool City Council from 2011 to 2023.[3]
