Okshtun is a village situated in the central plains of Albania's Western Lowlands region. It is part of Tirana County.[1] At the 2015 local government reform it became part of the municipality Rrogozhinë.[2] The Biba family of Okshtun had their Ydna tested and it came out as haplogroup EV13, their specific clade is the exact same as the Biba family of Poum, located in Struga, North Macedonia. This would suggest they are related to each other and share the same ancestry.[3] The Biba family is said to have originated from the village of Bibaj, in the Mirdita region.
