Miss Universe UAE is a national beauty pageant that is to select the representative on 12 October of the United Arab Emirates for the 73 Miss Universe competition which will take place in Mexico. The 16 finalists competing for the title are Minja Trifunovic, Sonia Beytoushi, Emilia Debrova, Aliaksandra Davydkova, Alexandra Moisa, Doua Hamdan, Mashael Alsehhi, Zulema Vazquez, Khrystyna Karpenko, Sama Zaheri, Samin Savoji, Fatima Norwoozi, Anamaria Babau, Mamta Choudhary, Tehani Zeramdini, Yuliya Pinchuk.
History
[edit]Miss Universe UAE was officially announced on September 2024, during a press conference in Dubai.[1][2] The competition is to be held in 2024, with its winner making the nation's debut at the Miss Universe 2024 competition. Miss Universe UAE does not have a swimsuit competition, instead incorporating a fashion couture round instead. Applications were open to all residents of the United Arab Emirates, rather than solely citizens.[3][4][5]
On September 8, 2024, a new team took over the license led by former Miss Universe Indonesia national director Poppy Capella.[6]
