Jaspat Roy Kapoor was an Indian politician. He was a Member of Parliament, representing Uttar Pradesh in the Rajya Sabha the upper house of India's Parliament representing the Indian National Congress. He was member of constituent assembly of India and had active part in making our constitution. Rajya Sabha member upto 1962 and was specialist in Election Petition for Congress.

Education : He did education upto 10th from Gaya ji then LLB from Allahabad. He taught economics to Chaudhry Charan Singh in Agra College.

He was famous for fighting during Freedom struggle for Congress Members free of cost. Because of him, Doctor Rajendra Prasad was selected as First President of India whereas Pandit Nehru was interested for this Post for Shree Rajaji.

He was married to Late Parvati Devi Kapoor. [1][2][3][4]
