DescriptionPrinces Avenue, Liverpool 8 - geograph.org.uk - 38357.jpg
English: Princes Avenue, Liverpool 8. Once a grand avenue of merchant's houses with tree-lined park in the middle of the road, this was a desirable place to live. Many of the houses on Princes Avenue still retain their former grand architectural style but unfortunately some became derelict and were demolished (modern building on right)but the importance to Liverpool's heritage has now been recognised and gradually they are being restored.
