Description
English: AWM Caption: Rabaul, New Britain. 1946-01-31. The Japanese Navy aircraft carrier Katsuragi in Simpson Harbour. The ship was transporting 5000 Japanese troops from the Solomon Islands to Japan and had called at Rabaul to refuel.
