English: Charles V's entry into Paris Grandes Chroniques de France, illuminated by Jean Fouquet, Tours, around 1455-1460 Paris, BnF, Manuscripts Department, French 6465, fol. 417 (Book of Charles V) After being crowned in Reims on May 19, 1364, Charles V the Wise triumphantly entered Paris through the Porte Saint-Denis.
