Source The painting was taken from a small book - "(Basil S. Long. John (Warwick) Smith (1749-1831)" (1920) and reproduced in that book by permission of Sir Michael Sadler. In 1937 he gave a collection of works to the Cooper Gallery and this picture was one of them. The painting itself is now property of the Trustees of the Cooper Gallery, at http://www.barnsley.gov.uk/cooper-gallery
