The following article is a summary of the 2016–17 football season in Armenia, which is the 25th season of competitive football in the country and runs from August 2016 to May 2017.

Notes:
  1. ^ Shirak qualified for Europa League first qualifying round by winning the 2016–17 Armenian Cup. However, since they already qualified for European competition based on their league position, the spot awarded to the cup winners was passed down the league.
