Pawandeep Rajan (born 27 July 1996)[4] is an Indian singer and music composer. He is known for his work in Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali and Assamese music industries. He was the winner at the television singing reality show 2015 The Voice India and 2020-21 Indian Idol.[5][6]

Early life
Born to a musical family. His father Suresh Rajan is a renowned folk singer. But, Pawandeep was initially playing musical instruments. He started professional singing lately.[7][8]
He did his schooling from University Senior Secondary School, Chmapawat. and, completed his graduation from Kumaun University of Nainital, Uttrakhand.[9][10]
Career
Pawandeep started his singing career through television debut. He participated in television singing reality show The Voice India season 1, in 2015. and, won the competition.[11]
In 2020, He participated in Indian Idol season 12. and, won his second singing reality show title. [12][13]
In 2022, he composed his first song Koi Na Koi Nata Hai of Prem Geet 3, which sung by Jubin Nautiyal.[14]
He is a member of the band Raet, based in Chandigarh. Where he performs as the lead vocalist.[15]

Recognition
After winning Indian Idol 12, He was appointed as the youth ambassador and the brand ambassador of Uttarakhand for culture, tourism & sports by the state government.[26][27]
