Anjani Kumar Jha (born 1965 ) is a Nepalese physician.[1] He is a radiation oncologist. [2] On September 7th 2023, He has been appointed as the Vice- Chairperson of the Medical Education Commission (MEC) by the Council of Ministers of Nepal.[3][4] [5]
He comes from lower middle class family. His father was a school teacher. He did his MBBS from Bangladesh and MD from Manipal, India.[6]
Previously he had served as the Chairman of Nepal Health Research Council and Nepal Medical Association.[7][8][9]
He is particularly known for his close ties with the Nepali Congress, adding a political nuance to his medical expertise.[10]
