Template talk:WikiFur Central/Header

Just to make it heard: I liked the old one better... Almafeta 19:57, 30 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- Which particular parts of it? More text? Particular wording? I've been trying to slim it down so that it does actually fit on 800x600 (which I think has been achieved) but there is space to add more below. I just don't want to have stuff that should, by rights, be on Community Central. --GreenReaper(talk) 20:06, 30 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Not working on Safari (Mac)[edit]
All the fonts below "You can help!" is not working on Mac's Safari. Quite garbled. just FYI Spirou 04:20, 31 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- That's . . . unfortunate, as I do not have a mac to test on. It works here on IE, Firefox, Opera in Windows and Konquerer in KDE/Linux. Can you try editing the copy of Template:WikiFur_Central/Header in the sandbox to see what the problem is and if you can fix it? I would suspect either the line-height or font-variant settings to be the issue, but I do not know. --GreenReaper(talk) 04:47, 31 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- It's the font size (font-size:8pt,)... Anything at 8pt or below gets a pixelated look. 9pt looks clean. Spirou 07:29, 31 Oct 2005 (UTC)
Not working on Safari (Mac) II[edit]
Front page sections displays as boxes stacked one on top of each other (Two different machines verified [G5, iBook G4]) Spirou 17:25, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
- Made some changes to white-space handling that KHTML engine might not pick up on... is it working now? -- DeVandalizer 18:07, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
- By the by, it displays normal on Firefox (Mac)Spirou 18:22, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
- What screen resolution are you running at... when the display is resized to a small window automatic reflow messes up the layout but leaves everything readable... there might be a way to fix the problem but I don't have a mac. -- DeVandalizer 18:35, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
- By the by, it displays normal on Firefox (Mac)Spirou 18:22, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
- I would note that it's currently intentionally stacked on top of one another. --GreenReaper(talk) 19:58, 11 July 2006 (UTC)

Lock templates until vandal wave passes?[edit]
Should we lock the front page templates for a short duration until this vandalism wave passes? TBG 02:55, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
- I'll semi-protect. --GreenReaper(talk) 02:56, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
- Works for me :) - TBG 03:00, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
