Midwest FurFest 2023

Midwest FurFest 2023 was the twenty-fourth iteration of the Midwest FurFest furry convention. It was held Nov 30-Dec 3, 2023 at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare and the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois, USA.

Theme[edit]
The theme was Snow Days! A fun filled weekend of sledding, ice skating, and snow ball fights.
Midwest FurFest 2023 had an unprecedented attendance of 15,547 people[1], and helped raise $185,758 for Live Like Roo.[2]

- At peak, registration processed 1700 attendees per hour ( 700 per hour over last year)
- Over 1000 people visited the quiet rooms
- 17 panels had ASL Interpreting provided
- 715 Volunteer hours across 110 volunteers
- 115 Artists in Art Show

- DBY106698's Challenge: Using the Sega Activator controller, an IR sensor ring played using your arms and legs, challengers had to complete the first stage of Sonic The Hedgehog 2 without getting hit. Rings did not protect the player from game over.
