Altair (Michal Altair Valášek, born 1979) is a large anthropomorphic Friesian horse from the Czech Republic, who currently lives in Prague with his mate Mysh and Esta, the Czechoslovak wolfdog. He is known for proving some wolf-like characteristics like growling and baring his teeth, especially when annoyed.[citation needed]

Furry[edit]

Altair was a longtime staff member and chairman of ČeSFuR. In 2011, he left with several others and started ZodiaCon[1].

He is also SOP of #furrycz (Czech FurNet furry channel) and admin of a few other Czech furry-related projects.

Real life[edit]

Altair is a computer developer, consultant, lector and occasional writer. He has been awarded as Microsoft MVP for ASP.NET.
