Albany AnthroCon 1998 was the last Anthrocon held in the state of New York. The convention was held 3-5 July, 1998, at the Omni Albany Hotel in Albany, New York.
The convention's theme was "Here Be Dragons". The Guests of Honour were Jeffrey A. Carver and Jim Groat.
The convention drew 600 attendees, an increase of 100 from their first year.
