Usage notes
editLike English apparent, Latvian redzams, especially in the expression acīm redzams, has two context-dependent, almost opposite meanings: "seemingly" (= "from what can be seen", "not necessarily true") and "obviously" (= "easy to see", "true"); cf. Russian очеви́дный (očevídnyj).
