editHinde (1904) records kunyu and kigunyu as equivalents of English caterpillar in “Jogowini dialect” of Kikuyu.[1]
Pronunciation
edit- As for Tonal Class, Benson (1964) classifies this term into Class 2 with a disyllabic stem, together with njagĩ, kiugũ, and so on.
