Verb

edit

eĩti (third-person present tense eĩna, third-person past tense ė̃jo)

  1. (intransitive) to go
  2. to walk

Usage notes

edit
  • With prefixes that end in -e, the e is removed, so ne- eik becomes neik (rather than *neeik), nebe- eina becomes nebeina (rather than *nebeeina), and so on. Note that this does not apply to other verbs, with the exception of esu (i.e. aš nesu (I am not) rather than *aš neesu).
