    • Peshitta, Isaiah 19:6:
      ܘܢܓܘܙܘܢ ܢܗܪ̈ܘܬܐ: ܘܢܬܡܣܟܢܘܢ. ܘܢܚܪܒܘܢ ܢܗܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܥܫܝܢܐ. ܩܢܝܐ ܘܐܪܒܢܐ ܘܦܦܪܘܢ ܢܐܒܫܘܢ.
      wa-nəḡūzun nahrawwāṯā, wə-neṯmaskənun wə-neḥrəḇun nahrawwāṯā ʿaššīnē. qanyā wə-ʾarbānā wə-pāpērōn nēḇəšun.
      And they shall turn the rivers far away; and the brooks of defence shall be emptied and dried up: the reeds and flags shall wither.
