re: 1902
editHey there, good work so far, but there's a lot missing still. For starters, there's very little about damage or deaths. Have you looked through any newspaper archives yet? I see there is a little bit about the Japanese typhoon that killed 600 people - how did you find that? By the way, the Wikipedia library is available to Wikipedia users who have been around for six months and have at least 600 edits, which you have. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 19:23, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
- @Hurricanehink I actually got the damage information from the newspapers.com website, which can be useful when you're making old typhoon articles. Another tip: If you're making 21st century storm articles, the google newspapers service may be of good use.

11:34, 23 November 2024 (UTC)- Oh amazing! Yea, keep using the newspaper website. That's one of the most useful ways of finding information for really old storms, since unfortunately there isn't a reanalysis going back to 1851 (like the Atlantic), and a lot of the stuff you find online is going to cover much more recent storms, as you've probably found out. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 19:43, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
- I gave the page a nice copyedit, going to add more later. Also, I found that the 1902 Pacific typhoon season didn't have any MWR reports.
