- Hi @Robert McClenon, I am just a little confused with this assessment so I apologize in advance. Shorty's hardware is a notable company within the skateboarding community - for producing the first short bolts, and through their branding around the skateboarding Chad Muska. I am not involved with the company in any capacity, but believe, as an active member of the skateboarding community, that Shorty's is a notable entity. There is also little written about the company aside from a couple of interviews, so finding reliable sources has been extremely difficult. I am not sure how I could update or fix this article to make it acceptable, so perhaps more (and specific) feedback is needed here. Thanks. Dr. Bongwater (talk) 13:35, 20 October 2022 (UTC)

- My advice is to ask about corporate notability at the Teahouse. Robert McClenon (talk) 14:24, 20 October 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks, I will keep digging for sources, perhaps might have to conduct an interview or two with experts or something. It is common knowledge in the community that Shorty's was the first hardware company to produce short bolts, as well as the largest in terms of sales and brand recognition for a number of years. I do know a few leading authorities in Canadian skateboarding community so perhaps I will ask them for resources. Thanks again. Dr. Bongwater (talk) 17:32, 20 October 2022 (UTC)
