NG discussion

Not sure really... I don't think there have been any comments to really make any decisions based on it, but something does need to be done, otherwise we'll get the same arguments each time. And - though I don't want to change my position - I'm tired of arguing this every time a new category comes up. I'd not be at all surprised if Alai and others feel exactly the same way, too - not wanting to change their views, but fed up with the whole mess. I think we're more or less agreed that where a perncat is "Fooian X" the stub cat should be "Fooian X stubs", so at least that's one thing that we can build on to start with. Other than that, though, the big yellow box idea has its merits :) Grutness...wha? 13:42, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

Remember When

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Remember When, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. East Sussex

Hi Amalas - the reason i did that is that East Sussex is a couty in its own right like all the others listed. Technically Sussex as a county hasn't existed for 20 years or so - the only reason that a Sussex-geo-stub was made was - like the similar Yorkshire one - at the time there weren't enough stubs for separate types for East Sussex and West Sussex, If the Eqast Sussex one has been made, then a similar one should be for West Sussex and then - again like Yorkshire-geo-stub - the Sussex-geo-stub can probably be deleted. Grutness...wha? 23:31, 19 April 2007 (UTC)

No problem. And happy birthday, BTW! Grutness...wha? 23:45, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

Happy (quasi-belated) birthday

Just randomly found your talk page and figured a Happy Birthday would be in order.  :-) Rtucker 03:07, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

deletion

Hi Amalas,

It is good to know that there are diligent people doing quality management on Wikipedia. Keep up the good work!.

BUT:

Please ... just give us a chance occasionally ... I had not even finished writing ... and you deleted the page ... will try again some other time with more ready to cut and paste. Kctucker 20:01, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

Colette O'Flynn

Hello,

I was searching for information on Colette O'Flynn, who teaches pilates classes for pregnant women in Dublin. Can you tell me why her entry was deleted - is there something wrong with her service? She writes for a lot of Irish newspaprs, and is on TV?

Thanks,

Mary Kearney—Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.71.69.89 (talkcontribs)

Tiana Ringer

Howdy, just doing a search for this redlinked article in September 3 and came across your expired prod deletion. There also seem to be quite few redlinks leading to this article. The second link I found was to this expired AFD Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tiana Ringer in January - could this be the same banned user who made a bad faith AFD nomination - then slipped a prod tag on the article after everything had cooled down? It might be good to track them down as another possible sock - and perhaps restore the article? Cheers, Paxse 14:05, 18 May 2007 (UTC)

List of Registered Historic Places in Coconino County, Arizona

You deleted the above list as an expired PROD. I failed to see this addition of the PROD tag in time, and so have started a discussion at Deletion Review. Dsmdgold 04:05, 20 May 2007 (UTC)

No problem, it all seems to have resolved. I do have one question though. The listed reason for the PROD was because this was a list of mostly red-links. Is this an uncontroversial reason for deletion? Dsmdgold 15:55, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

The_Don_College Deletion

Hey, regarding http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Log/delete&page=The_Don_College I can't remember how long the article was and how much information there was on it. But, if they was a large amount of information, is there anyway of getting it back so that perhaps the article could be expanded?

I didn't notice the prod, and thus don't know the reasons for the deletion, could you also inform me of the reasons for the deletion.

Of course, if you can't remember any of this, then don't worry. (Oh, and while this account is a sock puppet, please respond on its user page User_talk:AFA_pony. ~AFA pony. 15:36, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
