Anthony Stewart (born July 2, 1992) better known by his stage name Phoenix, is an Australian professional wrestler who will be working for the Australian Wrestling Federation in the future. Wrestling BiographyeditChildhoodeditI was born in Liverpool, New South Wales on July 2, 1992. When I was one and a half, my brother Christopher was born. We moved to Mount Annan, New South Wales where we live to this day. On a weekend I was a bored 7 year old. My dad sat me in front of the TV and turned it on. I started to watch the WWE. I was hooked instantly. I still watch it to this day. When I was about 11, me and Chris, who was 10, started to put on our own wrestling show for the family. I wrestled as Lee Black, an evil gimmick. My finisher was a chokeslam. We created the Mount Annan Wrestling Federation After this, my sister Emma was born. She was a little angel. Then she made my life a living hell. In between then, I bought various wrestling games and started to make my wrestler, Lee Black, on there. It was then when I started to get bored of the Lee Black gimmick. When I was about 12, I started to wrestle with a serious gimmick, Zacharias Steel. My finisher was a simple DDT but it was cool. The MAWF travelled the state (between Padstow, Milperra and Mount Annan. Pre-AWFeditIt was about when I was 13 when I contemplated a real wrestling career. I started to attend AWF shows and enjoyed them. That's when I started to wrestle seriously. I shortened my wrestling name to Zac Steel. The MAWF was on a turn for the worst. Then after Chris got a PSP for his birthday, we decided to have entrance music. The MAWF theme music was I Ain't Your Saviour by Bullets and Octane then Save Me Sorrow by Bullets and Octane. Between then, we had several shows.
In April 2007, on the AWF Forums, I decide upon a gimmick when I enter the AWF. It was between a few names. I needed a heel gimmick for the first time in 2 years. It was a great turn and I am very happy with the new names I came up with. These were the names.
I decided to go with Phoenix as it is a short, scary and very powerful name. In mythology, a phoenix makes its nest out of cinnamon twigs. It then sets the twigs alight, both nest and bird burn fiercely and are reduced to ashes, from which a new, young phoenix arises. Phoenix would be a heel. AWFeditOn July 10-13, I will be attending the AWF DreamCamp. It trains people at least 12 years old that want to become a professional wrestler or just want fun. It is the alternative for the AWF School of Pro-Wrestling, run by Greg Bownds. In 2008, I will be attending the AWF School of Pro-Wrestling, in my hopes to one day become a professional wrestler. I will attend it along with some of my friends from the AWF Forums. People say, "One day, I'm gonna wrestle for the WWE." or, "I'm gonna be the next WWE Champion." Truth is, they most probably won't. I am going to stay with the AWF for a while, maybe 5 years, then try and go to America to train there. Australian Professional Wrestling doesn't pay much and I will need another job for then but when I travel to America, I will become a full time wrestler. That's my two cents. The NameeditPhoenixPotato is a combination of my wrestling name and my favourite thing, the potato. PotatoeseditDescriptioneditThe potato (Solanum tuberosum) is a perennial plant of the Solanaceae, or nightshade, family, commonly grown for its starchy tuber. TriviaeditPotatoes are the world's most widely grown tuber crop, and the fourth largest food crop in terms of fresh produce — after rice, wheat, and maize ('corn'). DomesticationeditThe potato was domesticated in southern Peru and is important to the culture of the Andes, where farmers grow many different varieties that have a remarkable diversity of colors and shapes. CultivationeditIn pre-Colombian times they were also widely cultivated on Chiloe island, in Chile. IntroductioneditPotatoes spread from South America to Spain and from there to the rest of the world after European colonization in the late 1400s and early 1500s and have since become an important field crop. Other infoeditThe potato is also strongly associated with Idaho, Prince Edward Island, Ireland and Russia because of its large role in the agricultural economy and/or history of these regions. PhoenixeditIntroductioneditIn ancient Egyptian mythology and in myths derived from it, the phoenix or phœnix is a mythical sacred firebird. DescriptioneditSaid to live for 500 or 1461 years (depending on the source), the phoenix is a bird with beautiful gold and red plumage. Death and Re-birtheditAt the end of its life-cycle the phoenix builds itself a nest of cinnamon twigs that it then ignites; both nest and bird burn fiercely and are reduced to ashes, from which a new, young phoenix arises. TriviaeditThe new phoenix is destined to live, usually, as long as the old one. In some cases of mythology, however, this is not true. New PhoenixeditThe new phoenix embalms the ashes of the old phoenix in an egg made of myrrh and deposits it in the Egyptian city of Heliopolis ("the city of the sun" in Greek). ImmortalityeditThe bird was also said to regenerate when hurt or wounded by a foe, thus being almost immortal and invincible — a symbol of fire and divinity. Phoenix TearseditTears from a phoenix can heal wounds. Star WarseditI like Star Wars... JedieditDescriptioneditThe Jedi are philosophical keepers of the peace of an ancient and noble monastic organization from the Star Wars saga, known for their talent in and observance of The Force. MeaningeditUsing the living things around them to manipulate the Force and wielding their signature lightsabers, members of the Jedi Order fought for peace and justice in the Galactic Republic for between 20 000- 25 000 years prior to the Battle of Yavin, often against their mortal enemies, the Sith. ExampleseditMany Jedi are central characters in the Star Wars movies and additional works, including Obi-Wan Kenobi, Qui-Gon Jinn, Yoda, Mace Windu, Anakin Skywalker and Luke Skywalker. RivalseditTheir philosophical rivals and opposites are the Sith. SitheditThe TermeditWithin the fictional Star Wars universe, the term Sith is used to describe two separate but related groups. Common UseeditThe most common use of the word applies to a cult of warrior priests devoted to the dark side of the Force, serving as the counterparts of the Jedi Knights. Group One of TwoeditThis article deals primarily with this group, the leaders of which were known as "Sith Lords." Group Two of TwoeditThe second group was a near-human race enslaved by the aforementioned cult, who later took the name of this race as their own. |
