Memorial?
edit"A second memorial, installed by local people, at the side of the A495 Ellesmere to Whitchurch road, near to the site of the accident, shows the Cambrian Railways coat of arms."
Where? I looked within the last week but failed to find it. I suspect the memorial was on one of the supports of the railway bridge over the A495 (which was immediately east of the station) but failed to survive the removal of all traces of the bridge after the line closed in the 1960s; and that this information was taken from a source written before the line was shut.
- It's still there, but quite well concealed low among the row of conifers planted between the fence of the station house and the A495. It's 6 meters west of a set of steps off the roadside that descend nowhere, probably marking the location of a former gate into the garden. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.53.69.150 (talk) 14:03, 5 November 2013 (UTC)
