Just a note to ask that people do not link the John Lloyd mentioned in this article to John Lloyd (scholar). They are not the same people but I've not yet found enough information to create an article for him, other than confirmation of the men being different by searches of the Royal Society's "Past Fellows" archive and the brief notes that I've just added to this article.
