Under the “Professional Wrestling Career” tab, the first paragraph has a small typo in the last sentence “He wreslted in Durban South Africa…”

Should just be changed to “wrestled” 2601:806:201:FE50:35A6:5D0E:DC52:E0CF (talk) 22:55, 12 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Shortening the article's beginning

edit

Hey everyone, I believe the beginning of the article is a bit too long and should be simplified. I've typed up what I think would be a better, simplified beginning:

"Mark William Calaway (born March 24, 1965), better known by the ring name The Undertaker, is an American retired professional wrestler. He had first worked for several promotions under several different gimmicks, though he is mostly known for his work in the WWF/E as his critically acclaimed "Deadman" gimmick. In 2022, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. His WrestleMania winning streak, known simply as, "The Streak", remains one of the most iconic winning streaks in the WWE. During his career, Callaway would feud and be partners with his storyline brother, Kane. During his Undertaker gimmick, Callaway won the WWF/E Championship four times, the World Heavyweight Championship three times, the Hardcore Championship once and the World Tag Team Championship six times, in addition to a Royal Rumble victory in 2007."

I hope this isn't too short, but if it is, I hope it can at least be a stepping stone for a better article beginning. I can put it in the article myself since I am autoconfirmed, but I thought I'd discuss it first since it's a major thing. Ulysses Grant Official (talk) 05:31, 6 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

"American Badas" was one of the nicknames/gimmicks of the Undertaker. It wasn't a ringname. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 14:14, 9 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Black belt

edit

I believe the claim that Calaway holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, based on an article from February 2021, should be removed. The article appears to be fake news. In January 2021, Calaway appeared on Joe Rogan's podcast and stated that he had only trained briefly in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. So less than a month later, he is suddenly have earned a black belt? This doesn’t seem credible. 77.124.101.66 (talk) 10:45, 21 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
