Volumes

Pulp magazines?

This isn't a disambiguation page but an article about the comic books from Marvel so I don't see why there is a section on pulp magazines here as there doesn't seem to be a connection between them and the comics. I'd suggest just nipping it out and moving it here for now - if anyone wants to start Strange Tales (magazine) they can use that (or we could just sling it over there but I don't know enough about the topic to know if notability could be demonstrated). You probably have a point. The reason I'd included them is that, as you rightly note, they don't seem notable in and other themselves, yet because they exist and could turn up in searches and cause confusion, I thought it best to address them. I'd have to go along with Emperor that notability might be a problem. Within a larger article titled Strange Tales we'd be remiss not to include them, since by floating around out there without explanation here could lead to confusion. The pulp magazine has been described as a rival to Weird Tales. If it actually published any interesting stories it may be notable. Also it was sister magazine to the original Astounding. -- Beardo (talk) 20:14, 27 January 2011 (UTC)

Today's edits

I have reverted a new editor's changes, having already explained in an edit summary that he is doing original-research synthesis and POV essaying, including with a cite to a personal blog, about a character when this article is about the periodical. I asked this editor to discuss his concerns on the talk page, and he has clearly refused. I will now make a note on his page about edit-warring. --Tenebrae (talk) 18:53, 12 November 2012 (UTC)
