Romance-Flanders was also Flemish-speaking and suchlike...
editModern maps (of what would overset 'Romance Flanders') seem to show many Dutch-speaking-like placenames and FrenchificationS/Romancifications of Dutch/Femmish placenames. In light of the aforesaid, I think it rightwise, that the article explain how this is likely in the so-called abodes hight: 'Romance Flanders'?
If it is acknowledged that there was an Romance-speaking bit of Flanders, then likewise, it should also be acknowledged that there existed a Flemmish-speaking bit of 'Romance-Flanders. Is there any whyfors as to why it didn't get a name too like: 'Germanic Romance-Fanders', innit?
