1961 to 1990
editThe climate period of 1961 to 1990 is fully outdated and inlcudes the generally cold late 20th century in North America. This datum is given for historical reference on articles such as Longyearbyen to show contrast. Wikipedia was built on 1971 to 2000 data for climate (and outdated census data on so many articles) and 1981 to 2010 is still very common on articles that don't have easy access to the new NOAA interactive climate data website.
Not only is the coldest month likley to be above 0/32 in the past few decades, nullifying the -3 isotherm distinction between C and D, there might now be four months above 10/50 making it not 'subarctic mediterranean'. B137 (talk) 05:44, 20 August 2023 (UTC)
