#Half-backs or #9. Halfback?
editGiteau has played three positions:
- Inside centre #12
- Fly-half #10 e.g. Wallabies 2009 & 2010
- Halfback #9 e.g. Wallabies at RWC
These positions map logically to three parts of the Rugby_union_positions page:
- 3.2.2 13. Outside centre & 12. Inside centre
- 3.3.1 10. Fly-half
- 3.3.2 9. Scrum-half
However, an initial link from Halfback was changed to Halfback.
- How is this change (from #9. Halfback to #Half-backs) justified?
- The ambiguity is that #Half-backs includes two positions (Fly-half #10, and Halfback #9)

Mighty short man we've got there
edit1.78cm tall? Umm... yeah, I think that's probably wrong, it's probably supposed to be either 1.78m or 178cm. Anyone want to double check that? --StarkRG 07:35, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
Gits' salary
editGiteau's deal is worth AU$1.5 million a season (3-year $4.5 million contract) making him the highest paid footballer in any code. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/rugby_union/international/4938638.stm 124.148.97.101 10:39, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

Fourie Du Preez Tackle
editI'm South African, and not a huge Giteau fan (don't know much about him) but this was ridiculous:
"The worst of the three cards by far was for a horrendous ‘tackle’ by Matt Giteau on scrumhalf Fourie du Preez. Certainly one of the worst passages of foul play in the 2009 international rugby scene."
So I tried to make it more neutral. If he gets cited for it then maybe we should expand on it.
God, one of my countrymen has made it even worse now. Give up.

I read what was here (infamous "Yellow Wallabies"), and took the liberty of deleting it. Someone needs to give this article a major overhaul, as Giteau is one of the pre-eminent players in rugby union. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.89.190.7 (talk) 06:05, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
