"--Please remove the erroneous editorial comments, as no rewrite or changes to this article are needed because it is a very useful objective summary of published information about the characteristics and testing of these historic lenses and accessories, for example by Erwin Puts Lloyd Chambers, and David Llado, that verify the generally recognized conclusion that from a "neutral point of view" that the Leica lenses discussed objectively are mechanically and optically among the best camera lenses ever manufactured. Additionally, it is misleading when the editorial comments confuse the recognition of quality with advertising, which is especially inappropriate for these lenses that (unfortunately) are no longer manufactured.--"
