Mention her nude photoshoots
editI think we should include details of her past nude photoshoots before the anti-child pornography laws were enacted. This is a reason some casting agencies haven't touched her for certain roles. - —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Eclip5e (talk • contribs) .
- The current mention in the article seems a bit too prominent, making it sound like it's a major factor in her career, which is not a fact that has been established. That might explain the POV-check notice, which has not been explained otherwise. - Nat Krause(Talk!) 22:49, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
- That's what I intended, I apologize for not making this clear earlier. Redeagle688 00:07, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
- I went ahead and took that passage out on the grounds that it was unsourced. Anyone with a source can restore it, but I still think it should be rephrased or moved or something. I also took out the POV-check notice; if you put the nude modelling passage back in, please also restore the POV-check notice. - Nat Krause(Talk!) 00:27, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
- I'll leave it to a more experienced user to add it appropriately, but featuring in child porn is certainly a detail that should be in the article. A possible source (mentioning it as a common entry to the industry) but that is, at least currently, down:

Relationships with Mexico
editWhy does she hates Mexico?
- I heard it's because of a bad experience in childhood with Tabasco sauce.—Nat Krause(Talk!) 00:34, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks but why? Tabasco sauce is made in the US, not Mexico. El Chompiras 01:17, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
- Someone should write a letter to her agent and inform him of this misunderstanding.—Nat Krause(Talk!) 18:09, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
No original research, please.
editI removed this:
Despite her dimunitive size — fan sources indicate that she stands 1.62 m (5 ft 4 in) tall and weighs 40 kg (88 lb) ([1]) — Kuriyama creates a distinctive onscreen presence through her ability to appear alternately, or in some cases simultaneously, winsome and menacing. Thus, her career, especially her Battle Royale and Kill Bill roles, can be seen as a variation on the violent yet feminine action-hero/sex symbol (Femme fatale) popularized in the West from Buffy the Vampire Slayer to Medea.
"can be seen as" = somebody's original analysis, and not even a correct one at that
