Ceremony Image from the home page
editOn the home page of Chelsea pensioner's is this ceremony image available, thought it could be added to the article, by giving credit to the Royal Hospital Chelsea. --xeryus (talk) 22:53, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
how many live there etc?
editneeds work - hopeless article doesn't give even the basics
Residential care?
editIt would 'tell the whole story' if it could be mentioned how far the care of Chelsea Hospital goes. I note that it is a requirement for in-pensioners to be capable of looking after themselves to be resident. What happens if the pensioner becomes incapable (commonly known as 'senile') and in need of residential/social care? Does the hospital provide within its walls or does the person have to go elsewhere?Cloptonson (talk) 19:11, 25 October 2014 (UTC)
=== It seems to be implied that there will be care later on; only when first resident must the Pensioner be capable of living independently. Varnebank (talk) 21:05, 10 November 2018 (UTC)

Chelsea pensioner → Chelsea Pensioner – They are called Chelsea Pensioners here in the UK which is the proper name. They are referred to as 'Chelsea Pensioners' across Wikipedia and throughout the article itself - everywhere except in the title. The name needs to be capitalised to be correct. The title should not be allowed to stand just because the article's starter made an error Jack1956 (talk) 23:44, 13 November 2016 (UTC)
- Quite correct. The article needs to be moved to Chelsea Pensioner. 86.171.159.202 (talk) 00:01, 14 November 2016 (UTC)
- Support clearly a proper noun. In ictu oculi (talk) 11:56, 14 November 2016 (UTC)
- Support per common name and proper casing. This actually could be a noncontroversial move (i.e., see the early 19th century painting Chelsea Pensioners reading the Waterloo Dispatch). Randy Kryn 21:32, 14 November 2016 (UTC)
