Llancarfan

The monastery survived well beyond 1086. It was absorbed into Glastonbury’s territories around 1100. Caradoc of Llancarfan wrote a second Vita Cadoci and then a Vita Gildae for Glastonbury before 1129.

Someone has mashed two vitae into one. The trip to Scotland is in Caradoc of Llancarfan’s version and not in Lifris’.

St. Cadoc's Hospital

Is it worth mentioning in the article the existence of St. Cadoc's Hospital & Library, a psychiatric hospital in Caerleon?
