Formation
editThe band formed in London in 1985 - with Oleh Witer and Nick Disbray both from Melbourne, and a team of English drummers. The band work in London for one year until Nick and Oleh left the UK and recruited the line-up which would become the band that had the hit records. In 1986 after only 5 live shows in Australia, every Major record and publishing company in the country offered lucrative contracts to the group. Mushroom Records became the band's label and BONK was recorded in Melbourne and then mixed in London. – previous comment was inserted by User:220.236.150.216 on 18:53, 2 February 2006. As for the group's formation I believe they formed in 1984 (see 1 and 2) in London. A second version formed in Melbourne.shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 04:11, 26 April 2014 (UTC)

Some new wikilinks
editI've wikilinked several of the people named in this article, most of whom need individual articles to draw together the available facts on their place in the history of Australian music in the 80s. Some presently lack such an article, so the following are redlinks right now: Scott Carne, David Sterry, Fred Loneragan, Dale Ryder. yoyo (talk) 14:40, 19 April 2018 (UTC)
