Montezuma's Revenge
editI was just watching Night of the Iguana and Ava Gardner's character mentioned "The Aztec Two-Step" as another term for Montezuma's Revenge. I don't know if the Ferlinghetti poem makes the same reference, but either way it isn't clear in the article that this is what the name Aztec Two-Step is referring to. Perhaps someone can provide a clearer citation re what the names means and where it came from?Lafong (talk) 04:43, 10 February 2012 (UTC)
- Yes, it's a reference by Ferlinghetti to the Aztec emperor's revenge. The specific lines are: "A couple of papish cats / is doing an Aztec two-step." Allreet (talk) 18:20, 2 December 2014 (UTC)
